George Best becomes new Ultimate Team Legend for FIFA 16
Footballer George Best will officially be recognised as a legend when FIFA releases its annual video game on September 25.
Northern Ireland football hero Best is one of eight new players being added to FIFA Ultimate Team Legends and he will join Legends veterans Roy Keane and Michael Owen on the full list.
The East Belfast man, who died in November 2005, will be available to play alongside other newcomers to the list: Ryan Giggs (Manchester United), Vitor Baia (FC Barcelona), Deco (Chelsea FC), Javier Zanetti (Inter Milan), Alessandro Nesta (AC Milan), Jari Litmanen (Liverpool FC), Gennaro Gattuso (Rangers).
Best has long been considered a legend in the sporting world due to his impressive performances as a winger for Manchester United and the Northern Ireland national team.
FIFA 16 will be released on September 22 in USA before its launch in the UK and Europe on September 25. As well as the new legends being added, FIFA has also added nine new stadiums including Borussia Park and Carrow Park.
For the first time in FIFA gaming history EA will also be including women in the mix.
You can choose to play as one of the 12 Women's National Teams, but you can only play against another Women's team.
EA Sports said, "With FIFA 16, we’ve made the necessary advancements in gameplay. We used new physics and new models to help us to accurately and authentically represent how these athletes walk, run, sprint and move horizontally."
Players can choose to play as team USA, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Spain, France, China, Sweden, Italy, Mexico, England or Australia.
