George Clooney has slammed reports he's split from his girlfriend Stacy Keibler.
The Hollywood actor's representative spoke out on the subject after British newspaper The Sun claimed that the hunky star had ended his romance with the blonde beauty.
The speculation is said to be entirely untrue.
"A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers," George's PR representative Stan Rosenfield said in a statement.
In the story, it was alleged that a statement "is expected any day announcing the pair have split amicably."
"[Stacy] said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married," a source told the UK publication. "Stacy hoped they would be together long-term. It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her."
Speculation over the state of the couple's relationship came as they recently returned from George's idyllic home in Lake Como, Italy, where they spent the summer.
George and Stacy struck up a romantic relationship in August last year, a month after he split from Elisabetta Canalis.
George has dated a string of other women including Kelly Preston and Renée Zellweger.
Stacy was spotted at the New York Fashion Week Vera Wang catwalk alone this week.
