George Clooney tried to date Eva Longoria while he was still in a relationship with recent ex-girlfriend Stacy Keibler.

The 52-year-old actor recently split from wrestler-turned-model Stacy Keibler, 30, after being together for around two years.

Apparently in March George and Eva hung out together in Berlin, Germany at Soho House. Although he was still officially with Stacy at the time, it is rumoured that he made his intentions with Eva very clear at the exclusive lounge.

Unfortunately for ladies’ man George, Eva did not reciprocate.

“George began pursuing Eva,” a source told Us Weekly. “He told her that he was still with Stacy, but had plans to break up with her and was interested in being with Eva.

"[He] continued to pursue her with texts and calls. Eva made it clear to him that she would not date or be with him until he was completely single."

Eva has finally found happiness with her new beau Ernesto Arguello after divorcing from Tony Parker a couple years ago.

She met the entrepreneur and philanthropist last year on a reality dating show she produced entitled Ready for Love.

"She is now very happy with him," the insider added. "George and Eva never hooked up."

The couple recently returned from Nicaragua where Eva met Ernesto’s family.

Apparently they have what it takes to continue a long and healthy relationship.

“Eva and Ernesto are a perfect match," a source told People magazine recently.

The former Desperate Housewives star was married to basketball player Tony Parker from 2007 to 2011.

She wed Tyler Christopher in 2002 however they split in 2004.
