George Clooney 'moving to UK'

George Clooney is reportedly eyeing up property in London as a home for himself and his fiancée Amal Alamuddin.

The Hollywood A-lister is said to be eyeing up property in the UK as a marital home for himself and his fiancée Amal Alamuddin, who has a successful career as a human rights lawyer in the British capital.

While George is one of the biggest names in the industry his movie career, which also consists of directorial work as well as acting, is often based all over the world. Amal on the other hand works in leading law firm London's Doughty Street Chambers.

“Amal wants to continue her work, and George is very supportive and proud of her career. He will soon be going to London so they can look for a new home there together,” a source confided to Page Six.

News of 53-year-old George and Amal’s engagement broke last month, and the loved-up couple recently celebrated their happy news at a star-studded bash in Malibu.

The pair were joined by close friends Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, who’s also George’s business partner. U2 rockers Bono and The Edge were also there enjoying the fun.

Guests reportedly indulged in a spot of karaoke, while knocking back wine and tequila.

"After the toast, George and his fiancée were all over each other," an insider explained. "Lots of hugging."

Amal was spotted at Heathrow airport yesterday after jetting back home. Her £450,000 diamond engagement ring sparkled as she chatted on the phone, wearing a relaxed outfit of ripped jeans and a slouchy cardigan.
