George Clooney: Success is dangerous

George Clooney has warned that it's "dangerous" to fall in love with success.

The Hollywood star is one of the industry's most sought-after leading men. Since shooting to fame in hit show ER, the 50-year-old has enjoyed a high-flying career and won numerous awards for his work in front of and behind the camera.

George says that doing well is a positive thing, but believing the hype can be treacherous.

"Success in itself isn't dangerous, but to fall in love with success is," he told German magazine Emotion.

George also revealed the things he misses the most now that his private life is restricted by his level of fame.

The star explained that he would like to be able to sit in a public space with pals when attending events rather than being in a cordoned off area.

"I can't go and watch a basketball game anymore," he said. "I don't like the VIP lounges and would like to sit with my friends.
