Geri Halliwell 'most keen on Spice Girls musical'
Geri Halliwell was reportedly the most interested in giving input to the Spice Girls musical.
Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri reunited to promote Viva Forever! in London at the end of last month.
The musical is based on the former group's songs and was written by comedian Jennifer Saunders. Judy Craymer, the woman behind stage show Mamma Mia!, is producing.
Jennifer and Judy reportedly had difficulties researching the band.
"Judy went to LA to see Vic, and then Mel B. Jennifer had several meetings with the other three, but never together. She was trying to get a sense of what it was like in the band, but she could only get one view at a time - it was Geri who was most keen on the process," a source told UK magazine Grazia. "Luckily Jennifer never gets upset with big egos - she just thinks it's all hilarious."
Victoria looked uncomfortable during the reunion and it's been claimed she was unsure about teaming up with her ex bandmates.
It was also reportedly Victoria who vetoed the idea of them performing again.
"She seems reluctant to come back to the band," the source added.
