Ghostbusters reboot trailer 'most disliked of all time'
The clip for the all-female remake of the classic 1984 comedy Ghostbusters currently has over 500,000 dislikes.
The trailer for the Ghostbusters reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, is the most disliked film trailer on YouTube ever.
The clip for the all-female remake of the classic 1984 comedy currently has 582,663 dislikes at the time of writing (01May16) versus its 210,688 likes. It is also the only movie trailer, according to ScreenCrush, to make it onto the list of YouTube's Top 100 most disliked videos.
The clip, which was released back in March (16), was beaten to the top of the list by Justin Bieber's music video for his 2010 hit Baby, which currently has 6.3 million dislikes.
The Paul Feig directed movie also stars Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Chris Hemsworth, and is due to be released on 15 July (16).
However, it isn't all bad news for the Ghostbuster franchise, as it was announced the original movie, starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson, is getting a limited re-release in the U.S.
Ahead of the new reboot being released, the 1984 comedy will be screened in more than 750 cinemas on 8 and 12 June, and viewers will also get a sneak preview of the Melissa McCarthy-fronted movie.
