Glee actors auction off kisses
Glee stars Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera auctioned off their snogs for charity at the GLAAD Media Awards.
The pair, who play high school hunk Finn and lesbian cheerleader Santana respectively, were joined by actor John Stamos - who made a guest appearance on the hit TV show as dentist Dr Carl Howell - in a three-way kiss to raise 15,000 US dollars for the organisation.
"That's how I got on Glee - kissing Cory for free," John joked on stage.
The auction started when Naya, who co-hosted the 23rd ceremony in New York with co-star Cory, announced she would sell her "sweet lady kisses to the highest bidder" to help raise funds.
Cory immediately offered his smooching services and applied some lip balm.
"I have kissed Naya and it is frickin' awesome," he said, as Naya added: "It's officially a kiss-off between my juicy lips and his thin ones."
Each star raised 5,000 US dollars each for GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), which supports and raises awareness of gay, lesbian and transgender issues.
Hairspray producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron were honoured with the Vito Russo award for their work in the community.
Neil said: "I just love being gay. [It's] part of who I am, so it impacts the work that we do, and I love the work that we do. So it's great."
Lady Gaga, Dancing With The Stars and Ricky Martin also won gongs during the show, which saw celebrity guests such as actress Dakota Fanning and film producer Harvey Weinstein.
