Glee star Cory Monteith in rehab
Glee star Cory Monteith has gone into rehab.
The actor's representative told People magazine that he had "voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction". People reported the news on its website.
This is not the first time in rehab for the 30-year-old actor, who plays Finn Hudson in the Fox TV series.
He had treatment when he was 19 and has spoken about his addiction struggles, saying he had a serious problem and took just "anything and everything".
In 2011 he told Parade he was "lucky to be alive".
Cory is dating Glee co-star, Lea Michele, who told People that she was supporting him through his treatment.
"I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this," she said. "I am grateful and proud he made this decision."
