Grande: Cheating stories are false

Ariana Grande has revealed that she is "shocked" by allegations she cheated on her ex-boyfriend with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes.

The Baby I singer was accused of doing the dirty on her ex-boyfriend Jai Brooks with Nathan, whom she is now in a relationship with.

The Nickelodeon actress told 4Music: "How he handled it was a bit unexpected, but at the end of the day my family and my friends and my true fans know the kind of person that I am.

"Those kind of accusations are completely false and more than anything hurtful and shocking."

The 20-year-old added: "I'd like to move forward and forget about it."

US singer Ariana and Nathan, who duetted together on the song Almost Is Never Enough, went public with their relationship in September, and she has already met his parents.

"I took her back to Gloucester to meet all my family. I was so scared, you don't even realise," he told Digital Spy.

"But my family think she's amazing and they're like, 'Nathan, how?' and I'm like, 'I don't know'. I don't think anyone can ever punch above their weight, but I feel very lucky, put it that way."

Ariana has revealed that it took time before their romance blossomed.

"I saw him in March on a red carpet, and we locked eyes with each other all night. I thought, he was cute as hell. Nothing happened obviously and then, the duet came about," she said.
