Gregg: I get Dirty Dancing jokes
Clark Gregg has revealed that he is often plied with jokes about Dirty Dancing, because he is married to Jennifer Grey.
The Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D actor, who has been married to the Dirty Dancing star for more than 12 years, admitted that he has gotten used to all the gags.
"I appreciate the jokes. She appreciates them the way you do when you make a small, widely derided independent film in North Carolina in your 20s, and it becomes a truly iconic movie," he told Empire.
"But she was injured during Dancing With The Stars and someone said, 'Nobody sends Baby to the coroner'. We agreed that was funny," he added.
Clark, who stars as Agent Phil Coulson in the Marvel TV series, revealed he never had to audition for the role in the two Iron Man films, Avengers Assemble and the small-screen spin-off because Jon Favreau gave him the part after seeing him star as FBI Special Agent Michael Casper in The West Wing.
"Jon Favreau had seen the show so when they needed a non-descript suit for Iron Man, he said, 'I know 'that guy' we need!'" he said.
Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D continues on Channel 4 on Fridays.
