Gwen Stefani admits the delay in No Doubt reforming was "mainly her fault".

The legendary pop rock group is currently promoting their new album Push and Shove, which they have been slowly putting together for the past few years.

After their 2004 tour, No Doubt embarked on solo projects, with members - including Gwen - starting families in between. The blonde beauty admits that although it might seem the group have been away a long time, it has flown by for her.

"We're actually way ahead of schedule - lots of babies made, lots of stuff that we've done. It's hard to schedule it, I think it was mainly my fault!" the busy mother-of-two quipped in an interview with UK TV show Lorraine.

Gwen has a busy lifestyle juggling her music and fashion careers with her home life. The star's name was in the running for the coveted X Factor panel at one point, but Gwen admits the job would have been an impossible one.

"I actually really like the show, I like watching it, but I think my plate is really full," she laughed.

The band members are thrilled to be back with their new music. The four-piece have revealed that their loyal fans' opinions mean a lot to them, so have kept their signature sound.

"As a fan you don't want change so much you take it personally. Even though you get into the record, you somehow feel offended if it's not exactly what you want," Gwen revealed.

Bassists Tony Kanal added: "On this record we had three days where we could all get together. We'd spend the first couple of hours literally just ordering food, talking and catching up and then listening to music and getting inspired. It was a very social way of making an album," he said, before Gwen chimed: "So much wasted time!"

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
