Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale finalise divorce
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have reached a divorce settlement.
Gwen Stefani is officially single again after her divorce from rocker Gavin Rossdale was finalised by a Los Angeles judge.
The No Doubt star filed for divorce in August (15) after separating from the Bush frontman, her husband of nearly 13 years, and on 8 April (16), a judge approved their settlement.
According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, Gwen and Gavin will have joint physical and legal custody of their three sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and Apollo, two, and they both agreed neither will get child or spousal support payments.
The former couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, so although Gavin was entitled to receive half of the assets they acquired during the marriage, he opted against taking money she earned through concert and record sales. Gavin will maintain music rights for his band Bush, while Gwen will also retain interest in her band, as well as her successful fashion lines L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers.
In addition, Gwen has given up her rights to any of the former couple's four properties in Europe, but she will get half the profits from the sale of their Beverly Hills estate, as well as full control over two other homes in Los Angeles.
Gwen stunned fans when she announced the separation in August, amid rumours of Gavin's infidelity, but she has since found love again with Blake Shelton, her fellow coach on U.S. talent show The Voice.
The country star also hit headlines last summer (15) when he and his wife Miranda Lambert split and quietly divorced.
Gwen recently admitted she is still reeling from the heartbreak of her marriage split, but she is staying positive and moving forward as best she can.
"It's still painful, I'm still looking at the pieces going, 'What is happening?,'" she recently told U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America. "There's so many great things, but it's still super hard to, like, have your family break up. What do you do after that?
"I have gone through a lot but I feel like, you have to be grateful for that, because if I didn't do that, then I wouldn't have this, and it's like, you have to be grateful for all of it."
