Gwyneth Paltrow hates homework
The Oscar winner struggles to keep her patience while helping son Moses with his math.
Gwyneth Paltrow feels like a dunce when her kids ask her to help them with their homework.
The Oscar winner, 43, admits she particularly struggles with her nine-year-old son Moses' mathematics assignments.
"I don't understand math," she told KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show. "There's so many things going wrong at one point, it's so frustrating."
Gwyneth reveals helping the kids with homework often tests her "calm, pretty patient" demeanour.
"It's where the worst part of my personality comes out," she added. "When homework time (comes around), I'm such an a**hole."
It's not the only thing Paltrow, who attended a private school in California, struggles with - her patience is also tested when applying makeup.
"I'm not very good at putting on makeup, which is, I think, a result of having had my makeup done for 20-plus years," the actress told Into The Gloss.
That might not be the smartest confession, considering Gwyneth has just launched a new Goop skincare line.
"Now I can do the foundation, a little cheek, and some mascara," she added. "Luckily I have my own foundation colour because I helped develop it."
And she admits she turns to her famous friends for beauty tips, telling Entertainment Tonight Kate Hudson offered her a little advice she swears by: "Kate was the first person who told me to stick my head in ice water when you wake up and you have to shoot something and you've had too much fun the night before. She's just the most carefree, lively, loving person and I think a lot of her beauty comes from that."
