Gyllenhaal 'mad about McAdams'
Jake Gyllenhaal is apparently very keen on Rachel McAdams, but doesn't want to ruin their onscreen chemistry.
The two stars appear alongside each other in the upcoming movie Southpaw, which they are currently shooting. It's about a boxer who is determined to make it to the top of his game, with the pair meeting on set.
"He wants to move this relationship forward - and fast," a source told British magazine Heat. "The only thing that's holding him back is that they are working together, so he doesn't want to ruin any onscreen chemistry they have by spoiling it with a real-life romance. But they've kissed, and they're spending all their free time together."
The pair were first linked earlier in the month when a fan posted a picture of them enjoying dinner online. A few days later they were seen taking in a boxing match, arriving together to watch Miguel Cotto take on Sergio Martinez at Madison Square Garden.
It's been claimed that Jake fell for Rachel as soon as she turned up to audition for the role of Maureen Hope.
"They're dating. They hit it off instantly when Rachel auditioned - Jake talked producers into hiring her, because they had a lot of chemistry," the insider claimed.
Rachel, 35, has been single since her split from Michael Sheen last year, while Jake, 33, is thought to have separated from model Alyssa Miller earlier this year.
At the end of 2013, Rachel discussed her thoughts on love and finding the perfect partner.
"I think yes, for sure," she replied, when asked by website heraldsun.com.au whether it is possible to love more than once. "I don't think there's a hundred times but, yeah, you can... there's room in life for more than one love. I would hope there's room for more."
