Halle's happy custody resolution
Halle Berry has revealed she and Gabriel Aubry have peacefully resolved the custody battle for their daughter.
The Oscar-winning actress and French-Canadian supermodel Gabriel split last May after four years together and recently became involved in a custody dispute over their three-year-old daughter Nahla.
But Halle told Extra TV: "When there's a child involved, it's a relief when you can resolve things in a good way."
She added: "Our issues were never about fighting for her.
"We both know a child needs both her parents. But what I want to say about it is sometimes, as a couple, you reach an impasse. We needed a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues, and I'm so happy we've arrived at that place - because for her sake, this is the best way. We both love her more than life."
Earlier this year Halle had to pull out of appearing in rom com New Year's Eve due to the court proceedings, and she recently pulled out of starring in a new Broadway production of Mountaintop in which she would have starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson who plays Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Bond girl admitted the custody battle wasn't easy.
She told Extra: "It's been a year full of challenges."
