David Harewood has revealed that working with Mandy Patinkin is a real highlight of his career.
The British actor, who plays CIA leader David Estes in Homeland, got to collaborate with the US star (Saul Berenson) in the hit TV show.
"I have to say Mandy Patinkin is my favourite, only because he's such a natural and a beautiful man. He's very friendly and welcoming," he said.
"He's been a joy to work with. Sitting opposite him and working up close with him as I have done all season has been one of the highlights of my whole career really."
David - who recently attended the English National Ballet's Christmas performance of The Nutcracker - admitted that the success of Homeland, which is coming to its climactic second season finale, has been "crazy".
Damian Lewis and Claire Danes have won Emmy awards for their performances on the show.
"It's kind of crazy. It's fantastic," David said.
"The show has been recognised ever since it hit the screens last year. It's my first American job too so not a bad way to kick off my American career."
