Harris’ parents happy she wed Hefner

Crystal Harris

Crystal Harris’ family are reaping the social benefits of her marriage to Playboy CEO Hugh Hefner.

The 26-year-old’s mother and father visit her at the Playboy Mansion in California weekly.

They especially enjoy getting to meet all types of interesting people as part of their daughter’s lavish living arrangement with the 87-year-old.

If anyone's okay with Crystal Hefner being married to a man three times her age, it's her parents.

"My parents come up here pretty much every weekend," she told People magazine. "Hef's friends were joking with them. They were like, 'Did you guys move in?' They're here, outside in the tent. They love it. They love coming here."

Hugh announced Raquel Pomplun as the 2013 Playmate of the Year last Thursday.

Crystal’s relatives were there to support the annual luncheon in keeping with their new and improved social life.

"They've made all kinds of new friends here," Crystal admitted. "Hef has friends from all throughout the years, so my parents relate to some of the people more than me, so it's cool."

The duo finally got married on New Year's Eve after Crystal called off their engagement at the last minute in 2011.

Now she is enjoying being a wife, commenting that it is "awesome".

"We have the best time, and everything's nice and mellow and perfect," she shared.

Hugh has been involved with huge TV personalities Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, amongst many other females.

However, he told the publication that with Crystal, he feels he "picked the right lady" to settle down with.

He doesn’t view her cold feet before the wedding in 2011 as anything negative.

"She didn't want to rush into it," he explained. "She waited about a year and it became increasingly clear to her that this is what she wanted.

“Despite the disparity in age, we just have a lot of common interests and we love each other. It's the down time, it's the quiet time upstairs watching television, cuddling. Just time alone."
