Hathaway: Everything’s on the line
Anne Hathaway couldn’t help but be “cheesy” about husband Adam Shulman during an appearance on NBC’s Today show.
The Interstellar actress tied the knot with fellow actor and producer Adam Shulman in September 2012. And two years into their union, the couple still seem to be in the honeymoon period.
“We both talked about it beforehand and how it wasn't going to change anything,” she said during an interview on the Today show. “But something shifts and I don't know what it is. And I didn't realise I was keeping a part of myself protected and it's kind of all on the line now.”
The couple worked together for the first time as producers on Song One, which Anne also stars in. And Anne admitted that the pair are tightly bound together when it comes to work and home life.
“I'm his and he's mine, Oh God stop it... so cheesy excuse me,” she laughed.
Host Savannah Guthrie was quick to point out to the Oscar winner that the feeling is clearly mutual, as Adam had also spoken of their union in a recent interview. He had said that the biggest surprise about marriage was that he fell “deeper and deeper in love” with his wife as time progressed.
“Well, that's very nice,” Anne replied with a big smile.
Song One sees Anne play Franny Ellis, a woman trying to help her musician brother wake up from a coma after a car crash. While the role came as an afterthought for the star, she couldn’t help but gush about the character.
“Franny stole my heart,” she said.
