Heather Graham is embracing her single status, and admits she hasn’t always dated the most “compatible” men.

The 43-year-old actress has been romantically linked to a series of stars, including Russell Crowe, Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Dillon, but is yet to settle down. Heather isn’t ruling out tying the knot, but is embracing her single status for now.

“I’m not against [marriage], I would definitely do it if I was in the right situation. I would like to be with someone I could settle down with and be with for the rest of my life. But I don't feel like I need to... I kind of feel like I dodged a bullet,” she told Vegas magazine’s 10th anniversary issue. “I’d rather be happily single than unhappily married. In the meantime, I’m having a lot of fun.”

Heather went on to admit that she sometimes romanced men that weren’t right for her.

She also promised to dish the dirt on her love life when she is older.

“I think everyone I've dated has been great, but maybe not the most compatible match,” she smiled. “I do have some great stories; I’ve definitely lived. Maybe [I will tell them] when I’m 80 and everyone’s dead!”

Heather also spoke about her Catholic upbringing and having to “rethink” how to live her life so she felt content.

“A lot of times we’re brought up to please other people or take care of other people. It’s ingrained in our nature to be motherly,” she explained. “I had to step outside and go, 'What makes me happy?'”

When quizzed on what she wants and desires from life, she laughed and replied: “Good sex!”

Heather can next be seen reprising her role as a stripper in The Hangover Part III. The blonde beauty was full of praise for her co-stars, saying Bradley Cooper is “super cool”, while Zach Galifianakis is “unique” with a “crazy comedy brain”.

The movie is released later this month.
