Heigl: I'd like to adopt again

Katherine Heigl said she would like to adopt another child

Katherine Heigl has revealed she would like to adopt another child.

The Knocked Up actress and musician husband Josh Kelley adopted three-year-old daughter Naleigh in 2009 and Katherine - who has an adopted sister - told Scholastic Parent & Child magazine that they would like to do it again.

She said: "Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged. My sister Meg is Korean, and my parents adopted her three years before I was born. I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea. We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I just wanted to be a mom. So however we do that, it's fine with me. I'd like to adopt again."

The 33-year-old actress, who recently penned a blog about balancing a Hollywood career with being a mum on the iVillage website, said she knew adoption was the right path for her.

"Anyone who doesn't have experience with adoption wonders, does love for a child come through DNA? I knew it didn't. My mother had biological children and an adopted child and said it made absolutely no difference. They're yours. You love them the moment they're put into your arms," she said. "Josh had to learn that, but he was so gracious and accepting."

Scorpio:

You should be justifiably proud of your progress. It isn't easy to break a bad habit, but you've managed to do so. A perverse side of your personality may tempt you to fall back on the old ways, just to give yourself another challenge. Ignore these impulses. Channel your energy in a positive direction instead. Learning to make clothes, furniture or jewellery will be a great use of your creative ability. You'll be especially successful if you use old, discarded materials in your work.More
