Helena Bonham Carter says her life with Tim Burton isn't "wild" enough for a reality TV show.
The actress spoke of how ordinary her relationship is after being asked if the couple had ever been asked to star in a reality programme.
And while the movie star confirmed that networks had discussed fly-on-the-wall documentaries with the eccentric pair, she would never consider taking part in one.
"People have suggested it, funnily enough. But I think people think [our life together] is much wilder than it is. You know it's utterly normal," she told the BBC, before adding that she could not be tempted. "No. No, no no. Not for one second. No."
Helena and filmmaker Tim have been together since 2001 and have two children. They famously live in two adjoining houses so that each can enjoy their personal space.
When the interviewer suggested people might be fascinated and envious of the famous connecting door between their homes, Helena agreed.
"I think so, yeah. They're right to be envious, it works. It's absolutely great. Except for we've got building work for the next year so we will actually have to live under the same roof. That's going to be interesting," she said.
