Liam Hemsworth is reportedly behind Miley Cyrus' daring new look.
The 19-year-old singer chopped off her locks and debuted a blonde pixie cut in August.
Her transformation from Disney star to edgy rocker has continued and she debuted an ever shorter buzzed style on Sunday
According to RadarOnline, the star's fiancée has been encouraging her behind the scenes and told her to "go for it".
"Miley talked about cutting her hair even shorter and Liam was fully behind her decision," a source said.
"He loves that she's become so daring with her looks and thinks Miley looks great with an edgier hairstyle."
Miley has also brushed off critics and insists shaving her hair has boosted her spirits.
She wrote on Twitter after debuted her first undercut she was feeling "so happy in [her] skin", adding: "Never felt more me in my whole life ? (sic)."
Liam is also apparently a big fan of the drastic new look.
"He thinks she's got such a pretty face and that short hair makes her eyes look even more beautiful," the insider said.
Miley announced her engagement to the 22-year-old Australian actor in June. The couple met on the set of 2010 film The Last Song.
