Hemsworth brothers ‘party till 5am’
Chris Hemsworth is said to have partied with his siblings Luke and Liam well into the wee hours of Sunday morning after hosting Saturday Night Live last weekend.
The 31-year-old actor hosted Saturday Night Live on March 7 to much acclaim, as the Iggy Azalea spoof skit he performed with Kate McKinnon went viral almost immediately.
And according to Page Six, Chris celebrated his appearance on the iconic comedy show by partying into the wee hours with his brothers Luke, 33, and Liam, 25. It’s claimed the trio barely left each other’s sides as they celebrated with SNL producer Lorne Michaels during Marc Murphy’s Landmarc bash at Time Warner Center in New York City. An alleged attendee tells the outlet Chris was “the last to leave”, heading out about an hour before sunrise on Sunday morning.
The party was a star-studded affair, as Ryan Seacrest was said to be in attendance. Onlookers claim the American Idol host donned a black and white tuxedo with sunglasses. Apparently Ryan wore his shades all night and refused to remove them.
Cobie Smulders, Ruth Wilson, the Zac Brown Band, Kenan Thompson, Jay Pharoah, Cecily Strong, Taran Killam and other cast members also showed up.
Chris is the second member of his family to have hosted SNL this season. His younger brother Liam starred alongside his The Hunger Games: Mockingjay castmates Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson while Woody Harrelson delivered a monologue last November.
The entire SNL cast expressed how excited they were to have Chris on the show for the first time.
“Very excited for Chris Hemsworth to host with musical guest @zacbrownband on March 7 -- they're both making their #SNL debut!” read a tweet that was posted on Saturday Night Live’s official Twitter account.
Chris performed a number of hilarious sketches on the night, including a piece where he dressed up in Thor costume and partied after saving the world.
