Chris Hemsworth would prefer to take a girl on a date that involves an "unusual activity".

The Australian actor is known for his role in action-packed films, such as Snow White and the Huntsman and Thor. It seems Chris is also a thrill seeker in everyday life as when asked what his perfect date would be, the heartthrob threw in a combination of a romantic dinner and an adrenaline-packed activity.

"A good meal and some kind of exciting, unusual activity, like skydiving!" he told Heat magazine.

Chris is married to Spanish model Elsa Pataky and the pair have 15-month-old daughter India Rose together. It was the blonde beauty's accent which seduced the 30-year-old star and he believes his Aussie twang also helped to win her over.

When asked what language he would like to be seduced in, Chris laughed: "Well, my wife did, in Spanish! For her, it was obviously Australian. There, it's 'Ahhh, I love ya, mate!'"

While he may be confident about his flirting skills, Chris finds he often has to change his body according to his next film role.

For his latest movie Rush, in which he plays Formula 1 driver James Hunt, Chris had to drop weight.

"Well, I had to get in the gym for Rush, because I'd just finished shooting Avengers Assemble and I was 215lbs. I had to get down to James' weight so I was able to fit into the Formula 1 car," he admitted.
