Hill couldn't resist a new musical

Harry Hill has said he's keeping his new musical to himself, for now.

The comedian first dipped his toes into the musical world with I Can't Sing!, but the X Factor-inspired show closed after just six weeks.

Harry said that the experience hadn't put him off, adding: "I enjoyed the process so much, it'd be a shame not to have another go."

The funnyman, who is presenting Stars In Their Eyes on ITV, has teamed up with Steve Brown, the composer he worked with on I Can't Sing!, for his new effort.

But he said that the new musical is "not for anyone other than me at the moment".

The TV Burp star added: "Me and Steve have two ideas we're working on, but it'll be a while before it sees the light of day."

:: Harry Hill's Stars In Their Eyes begins on ITV on Saturday, January 10.
