Hirsch supports #NoKidsPolicy
Emile Hirsch reveals second photo of his son, Valor.
The actor is a staunch supporter of Just Jared’s #NoKidsPolicy, supporting efforts to keep celebrity photographers away from the children of famous actors, musicians and personalities.
The proud pop logged onto Twitter Wednesday morning, posting a photo of the blond-haired, blue-eyed baby.
“Valor at 6 months...Thank God for mama! #NoKidsPolicy,” he wrote, six months after releasing his first photo of the infant after his birth in October.
Just Jared reports the #NoKidsPolicy movement was formed to keep celebrity babies out of the public eye unless their parents choose to share their own photos or videos.
The outlet is one of many whose editors have banned paparazzi photos of children who are not famous in their own right. The movement follows a successful campaign spearheaded by Jennifer Garner and Halle Berry urging the governor of California to impose harsher penalties on photographers who harass children of public figures.
Emile meanwhile spoke out late last year about the “incredible” feeling of becoming a father.
The actor, who declined to reveal the identity of his son’s mother, spoke to E! News in November about the meaning behind Valor’s unique name.
"I just love the word,” he said. “It's a big name to live into but I like it."
