Amanda Holden wants to swap dancing dogs for sheepdogs - with a guest role in The Archers.
The Britain's Got Talent star, who battled for her life earlier this year after her second child Hollie was delivered, said she longs to make a visit to Ambridge for Radio 4's rural soap.
In an interview with Radio 2's Steve Wright she also confirmed she will definitely return to BGT for the 2013 series.
"I'm not really allowed to say, but I know I am doing it next year," she said.
And she wants to follow in the footsteps of the Duchess Of Cornwall by making a guest appearance on the world's longest running radio soap, which celebrated its 61st anniversary last year.
Asked about what she would most like to do, Amanda said: "I wanna be on The Archers, I wanna open a fair or something on The Archers."
The star - who first found fame on ITV sitcom The Grimleys - said she is keen to return to acting.
Last year she appeared on the West End stage in Shrek The Musical but ended her run early because of her pregnancy.
She said: "I'd love to go back to acting. I've kind of done my fill of West End stuff, I think - it's tiring, it's knackering, it's brilliantly exciting when you do it, but it's tough, even if you do go in at 5 o'clock.
"I think I'm primarily seen as a host and a presenter and a judge at the moment so I'm going to enjoy that window whilst it lasts 'cause it won't last for very long and then I'll go back to acting."
