Amanda Holden has decided to return to work after she lost her unborn baby last month, according to reports.
The judge on Britain's Got Talent will begin rehearsals for her role as Princess Fiona in a West End production of Shrek in April, the Daily Mirror said.
A friend told the newspaper: "She is determined to get through this. She intends to throw herself into work and continue with the healing process."
Amanda, 40, has been given a week off later in the month from the musical, which also stars Nigel Harman, Nigel Lindsay and Richard Blackwood, to judge the Britain's Got Talent finals.
Auditions for the hit ITV1 show have already been recorded and will be shown on Saturday nights, starting next month.
The musical production of Shrek opens on May 6 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Amanda was seven months' pregnant when she lost the baby boy she was expecting in February.
