Holloway ‘not an email guy’
Josh Holloway confesses he is pretty ignorant about modern digital technology.
The 44-year-old former Lost actor plays character Gabriel Vaughn in new TV action sci-fi Intelligence.
And although his character is a technological genius, Josh confesses he barely has any idea how to use computers.
“[Gabriel] has a supercomputer in his head, which is a bit ironic since I’ve sent two e-mails and one said ‘test,’ pretty much,” Josh laughed to Access Hollywood.
“I’m not an e-mail guy. I don’t Facebook or Twitter, though I use a computer daily, because it’s in our lives. I’m just not ‘on it.’ Thank God for my wife, she’s very on it.”
Josh shares daughter Java with his spouse of nearly five years Yessica and the couple is currently expecting their second child together.
The actor is worried if he doesn’t get well-versed with technology soon, he won’t be able to communicate with his children as well as he’d like to.
“Well, if you’re a teenager, you can’t communicate without your gadget, apparently. So, I worry about that as a father,” Josh explained. “I’m like, ‘OK, you better get up to par, you better know what a ‘like’ is and a Vine and all [these types] of things.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God. I have to learn these things. But I will. Just enough to communicate with my children.”
