According to Forbes magazine, they each earned 30 million dollars between May 2010 and May 2011.
Angelina starred in Salt and The Tourist in 2010 and the latter, despite a poor performance in the US, went on to make 280 million dollars worldwide.
Re-runs of Sex And The City and the release of the second movie, which earned 290 million dollars despite a poor critical reception, earned Sarah most of her money.
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon shared third place, with 28 million dollars each.
Julia Roberts and Twilight star Kristen Stewart are next with 20 million dollars each.
Actors still earn more than actresses in Hollywood, but the 10 highest-paid actresses in Tinseltown earned a total of 218 million dollars between May 2010 and May 2011, according to Forbes.
