Katie Holmes has revealed that her Broadway performances cause her sleepless nights.
The former Dawson's Creek actress stars in new play Dead Accounts alongside Judy Greer and Josh Hamilton, following her stage debut in Arthur Miller's All My Sons in 2008.
"I have a hard time sleeping because I think about how serious this all is. I think about the cost of tickets," the 33-year-old admitted to The New York Times.
"I think to myself: 'You better do a good job. People are paying a lot of money.' You want to know your stuff."
Katie, whose divorce from Tom Cruise was finalised in August, said she leans on her family for support.
"I have these moments where what's going on in my life is unbelievable, and you have to tell everyone to figure out how to respond," she said.
"My siblings and I are always on the phone saying: 'Oh my God, what do you think? What does Mum think? What does Dad think?' And then you act accordingly."
Dead Accounts, which previewed on November 5, has its official opening night on November 29 at The Music Box Theatre in New York.
