Nicholas Hoult and Dianna Agron reportedly bonded during group outings to the pub.

The X-Men star has been single since breaking up with his co-star Jennifer Lawrence last year after over three years of on/off romance.

It's thought Jennifer, 24, has moved on with Gwyneth Paltrow's estranged husband Chris Martin and now Nicholas, 25, is rumoured to have found new love with Glee beauty Dianna.

“Nicholas is very low key so at first Dianna would just tag along with him to the pub and she’d be part of the gang," a source explained to British newspaper The Sun.

“No one thought much about it but recently they’ve become very close and are behaving quite coupley."

The 28-year-old blonde had been dating Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel but they parted ways at the end of last year. Apparently Nicholas' relaxed nature is what drew her to the UK star.

“Dianna doesn’t look it, but she’s really down to earth and loves how Nicholas lives a normal life," the insider continued.

“They’ve been friends for a long time. It’s early days but things between them are ticking along nicely.”

Nicholas and Jennifer may have gone their separate ways, but they'll be reunited soon - at least on screen. The pair will face each other on set when they film X-Men: Apocalypse, which is currently in pre-production and due out next year. The idea of filming together is thought to be playing on Jennifer's mind, especially now she's met Chris.

"Jen's been dodging Nick's calls, but she knows she has to talk to him before they start read-throughs," a source previously told British magazine Heat. "It's comes at a difficult time and she's worried she may get confused if she starts talking to Nick again."
