Kate Hudson has confessed she worried how falling pregnant after just two months would affect her relationship with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.
The Reluctant Fundamentalist star - who is also mother to nine-year-old son Ryder from her previous marriage to rocker Chris Robinson - had only just begun dating Matt when she discovered she was pregnant with their son Bingham.
Kate told Elle UK magazine: "I knew it would take a strong man to deal with it. You know that with a relationship, things can go either way when you have a child.
"When you get pregnant everything changes; you, your body. Everything becomes a big decision. But he was there and that was that. Now it's three wonderful years later. Things happen for a reason."
The 33-year-old blonde actress looks stunning on the magazine's latest cover in a red Gucci asymmetric gown.
Discussing her style, Kate said: "I loved some of the dresses I wore pregnant. Stella [McCartney] made me this dress for the Met [Ball] that I just love. Because pregnant you really get to go comfortable so it's one of the things that's great about being pregnant! That is number one!"
