Hunnam shuns nude selfies
Charlie Hunnam insists he doesn’t take photos of himself in the buff on his iPhone.
The Sons of Anarchy star is no stranger to stripping off for the camera, having filmed several love scenes for the hit TV drama.
But the 34-year-old English actor insists he’s not one to take selfies in the buff.
"I just got an iPhone last year. I love Apple products, but I don't use the Cloud. I don't trust it, so you won't find any nude photos from me personally,” he told the US edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.
That doesn’t mean Charlie believes he’ll never be seen in the nude outside of an acting scene.
He’s comfortable in his skin and admits he wouldn’t be surprised if one day a paparazzo caught him disrobing for a skinny dip.
"It's much more likely that I'd be followed somewhere and had taken off all my clothes to jump in a pool of water on a hike or something. I’m not doing any home photo shoots,” he added, explaining it wouldn’t be out of character for him to do something spontaneous.
"I play a lot of tough guys and violent characters, but I'm not like that at all,” Charlie insisted. “I’m a hippie who smiles a lot and is pretty relaxed. I’ve often had an escape fantasy that I would go out into the woods by myself for a year or two and discover who I am and what life is about."
Charlie’s remarks follow just a few months after a massive hacking scandal resulted in nude photos of dozens of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton, being posted on the web.
