Pregnant TV star Konnie Huq says she and husband Charlie Brooker are to still to buy anything for their forthcoming arrival - with only six weeks to go.
The couple, who married in Las Vegas in 2010, are still stewing over a name for their son.
Talking at the Baby Show in London, former Blue Peter and Xtra Factor presenter Konnie said: "Maybe we're the most unprepared parents in the world. We haven't bought anything yet."
She said Brooker, who hosts Channel 4's Ten O' Clock Live as well as scripting satirical shows, has been "neurotic" about how she looks after herself.
"I've got six weeks to go, but I'm not really nervous. Charlie's very neurotic; he's very careful about what I eat, like 'is that milk pasteurised?' We just got back from a holiday in Japan, which was a bit difficult with all that raw fish!
"He's a very cautious person at home, sometimes he's like 'wash your hands' - and he always carries round that antibacterial hand gel."
Konnie, who co-wrote one edition of Brooker's Black Mirror dramas for Channel 4, added: "We are also finding it really difficult to decide on a name.
"It's a real nightmare trying to agree on one, because you have to think of what it'll sound like with the surname and what nicknames he'll have at school."
