'Hurley and Warne split' rumours

Have Shane Warne and Liz Hurley ended their romance?

Liz Hurley and Shane Warne have sparked speculation that they have split up.

Model Liz, 48, and cricket star Shane, 44, have been engaged for two years.

The long-distance lovers have been known for sending each other affectionate tweets since they were first spotted kissing in December 2010.

But the abrupt end of their communication has sparked reports that they have called it a day.

Mother-of-one Liz, who was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar, recently suggested that all might not be well with her love-life, tweeting: "The more I know of man, the more I love my dog."

Meanwhile, spin bowler Shane wrote: "It's not what happens in your life, it's how you react to what life throws at you, in both the good and bad times."

Representatives for the pair were not commenting.

But The Sun said that friends believed long distance had ended their relationship.

A source was quoted as saying: "They have been so loved-up and have tried to make it work, but the distance has been a huge issue."
