Hurley ‘felt separate from Warne’

Elizabeth Hurley's relationship with Shane Warne reportedly came under strain because she felt "cut off" from his life in Australia.

The British actress-and-model and her cricket star fiancé are believed to be going through a crisis, with speculation rife the sports star has been getting close to his ex-wife Simone again. It has also been claimed the pair disagreed over where to set up home, with Elizabeth eager to live in England and Shane preferring to be in his native Australia.

"Shane was often on the phone to Simone in the early hours of the morning. It can't have been easy for Liz. I'm sure she felt cut off from his other life," a source told British magazine Grazia.

The stars apparently argued about Shane's close relationship with Simone, the mother of his three children. Shane and Elizabeth had been spending long periods of time apart, as she based in the UK, while Shane has been in Australia. During this time, Elizabeth was said to be unhappy about Shane meeting up regularly with his ex.

"It must have crossed Liz's mind there might be something going on," a source added.

Shane recently flew out of Australia to meet Elizabeth for “crisis talks” in a bid to save their romance.

It has been claimed he is determined to save his engagement to the British beauty.

Elizabeth finally addressed rumours about the romance last week, saying the situation was too “raw and personal” to discuss.

Shane seemed more hopeful, insisting the pair were not ready to “throw the towel in yet”.
