Ian Ziering is to become a father for the second time.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor and his wife Erin are already the proud parents of 18-month-old Mia. They have now confirmed they are expecting a new arrival in late May or early June 2013.
"I feel blessed, having a family is something that I've always wanted," he told People. "Having a second child is the realisation of a dream come true."
Ian and Erin don't know if they are having a boy or a girl yet. They have told Mia she will have a brother or sister next year, with the tot looking forward to the new arrival.
"We tell her 'baby' and point to Erin's belly," the 48-year-old star laughed. "Now she points to Erin's belly and says, 'Baby.'"
Ian and nurse Erin got engaged in February 2010, after meeting in September 2009. They married three-and-a-half months later in Newport Beach, California.
Following Mia's birth, he blogged about how much his life had changed.
"Erin tells me to quit griping, that in the last 20 years I've had enough fun to last a lifetime... Family is something I've always wanted," he wrote.
