Iggy Azalea: T.I. said what about me?

Iggy Azalea is waiting for her longtime business colleague T.I. to clarify statements he made about them parting ways.

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Iggy Azalea is hoping T.I. “will publicly clarify” statements he made about their relationship.

The Hollywood stars have been in business together for quite some time, as he helped launched Iggy’s career by signing her to his label.

On Wednesday T.I. revealed during an interview with New York radio station Hot 97 he “took a bit of a rest stop” with her, leading people to believe they have parted ways professionally and socially.

And Iggy took to Twitter Thursday venting her thoughts on what he said.

“Heres the deal, I am still signed to @tip and do business with him. The first ive heard of us having an ‘issue’ is via a radio interview (sic),” she tweeted.

“Personally, i dont think the radio is the place to talk about your personal issues with someone thats part of your team…

“He seems to think theres nothing wrong with what he said, everybody else seems to disagree.

Im sure tip will publicly clarify what he meant when he feels he has the right platform to do so and other than that, im chillin. have a great day guys. :-)”

Iggy was infamously embroiled in a number of Twitter feuds since 2014 after she was accused of appropriating Black American culture.

Fellow female emcee Azealia Banks claimed the Australian Fancy hitmaker was a complete rip-off. Then hip hop legend Q-Tip of Tribe Called Quest, who is considered royalty by many in the rap community, stepped into the matter by issuing a moving statement on the situation. Iggy brushed off Q-Tip’s poignant observations by tweeting she was unwilling to “play hip-hop squares with strangers to somehow prove I deserve to be a fan of or influenced by hip-hop”.

And after she made that statement to Q-Tip, T.I. decided to no longer defend her in public.

"After I kind of had smoothed it over like okay, 'What is really meant to be said here is…' After it was cool, everything was cool, and then they kind of came back and undid what I had just [done],” T.I. noted to Hot 97.
