I'm A Celebrity royalty Martin Roberts and Adam Thomas face immunity challenge
I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants Martin Roberts and Adam Thomas are to be challenged for their immunity following a public vote during Wednesday night's show.
Roberts and Thomas were amongst four celebrities to be crowned royalty after the first battle of this year's challenge for immunity from the first vote off - the Claim Of Thrones.
Split into two groups, the celebrities were made to lie in boxes of snakes, mud crabs, cockroaches and mealworms as part of the first battle of the Claim Of Thrones contest which will be played out over the next few days.
After five minutes inside the boxes, the campers had to unscrew a wing nut and release a ball with the fastest two in each group being made royalty.
Homes Under The Hammer presenter Roberts and Emmerdale actor Thomas were the first two contestants to be crowned and immediately took their place on the thrones.
They were joined by ex-footballer Wayne Bridge and Olympic hockey star Sam Quek at luxury camp Snake Rock with comfy beds and hot showers.
Roberts joked Thomas was acting like a "crazed dictator" following his elevation to power as the remaining contestants were forced to serve as subjects to the crown and had to survive only on basic rations as well as having to entertain and cook for the royals at Snake Rock.
Roberts took well to his new surroundings as he said: "I'm seeing some nice looking beds, some nice interior design, what a delight, we've got beds, a warm shower and we've got some bread and cheese.
"It's got a feng shui to it, I've had five or six nights on the floor and my back and hips are killing me, so what a delight," he added.
However the royals should not get comfortable for long after viewers voted for Roberts and Thomas to face a challenge for the throne from one of the eight subjects in the format of a bushtucker trial.
Scarlett Moffatt, who lost her role as president during the rise of the monarchy, was chosen as a chef for the royals whilst Danny Baker offered the entertainment alongside comedian Joel Dommett and dancer Ola Jordan.
The subjects' combination of camel steaks, dancing, singing and comedy proved successful as two luxury items were handed out by the royal foursome.
Amongst the items was a letter from the father of Diversity's Jordan Banjo that he usually carried around with him for luck.
"You guys must have smashed it. You guys are legends," the dancer said as he hugged his fellow subjects.
:: I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! returns at 9pm on Thursday on ITV.
