Broadcaster Danny Baker entered the Australian jungle in last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! for what he is billing as his last ever television appearance.

The BBC Radio 5 Live presenter was a late addition to the ITV show's camp along with Homes Under The Hammer host Martin Roberts, joining the other 10 celebrities who began the series on Sunday.

Baker, who has had a four decade long career in TV and radio, said it would be the last viewers would see of him as he plans to retire after his 60th birthday.

He said: "I have been doing telly for 40 years, I'm 60 next year and I've got no ambition to be on telly any more."
