Model Daisy Lowe (27) has admitted that she was "really disappointed" after being booted off Strictly Come Dancing.

She left the BBC One competition after week eight on Sunday after facing the dreaded dance-off for the second time in the series - this time against athlete Greg Rutherford.

"I would be lying if I didn't say I was really disappointed," she said.

After failing to win over the judges with a disco-inspired salsa to Deee-Lite's Groove Is In The Heart, Lowe said: "It was the first time on the dance floor that I thought, 'Yes, I'm having a great time'. I was nervous, but we loved the dance and that's all that matters."
