Jack Black sows the seeds of love

Jack Black says he tends to do what his wife wants

Jack Black has revealed his secret to cultivating a good relationship - thinking like a gardener.

The Gulliver's Travels star, who is married to cellist Tanya Haden, is convinced that green-fingered thinking is the key to success.

"Being a good husband is like being a gardener. You've got to give your partner lots of water and sunshine - love and support," he told The Sun.

"Communication is key - listening and sharing, finding a good TV show to watch together.

"It's also important to ask for what you want. I have a tendency to do whatever my wife wants, then anger builds up inside me and comes out in little passive-aggressive bursts."

Jack, Tanya and their two sons decamped to England while he filmed Gulliver's Travels at Pinewood Studios.

The 41-year-old, who plays mailroom clerk Lemuel Gulliver, revealed one of his favourite parts of the stay was getting to sample the food.

He added: "I love the curries. They have better curries here. I am a sauce man by nature."

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
