Jack Osbourne has opened up about living with multiple sclerosis, but said he keeps many of the details from his parents.

The star was diagnosed with the muscle condition shortly after daughter Pearl, with wife Lisa Stelly, was born last year and says he finds it easier not to tell parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne too much.

He told Us Weekly: "They're supporting, but I've learned to not really tell them what's going on because they worry so much. I asked my mum why, and she's like, 'Imagine if something happened to Pearl!'

"Then I understood. My dad's got a neurological issue himself, and at one point they thought he had MS. He's like, 'You figure it out'."

On how he deals with the condition, Jack said: "I give myself a daily injection of MS medication. I've also made a lifestyle change, minimising stress, exercising regularly.

"At the core, MS is inflammation, so I try not to eat foods that create it, like dairy and salt. I also cut processed food and sugar. It's living 101. I still go on hikes and do CrossFit workouts."

But despite his diagnosis Jack, 27, said he was living life to the full as much as possible.

He said: "Doctors tell me, 'You've got to stop this and that,' but I'm not going to craft my life according to the disease. I recently did two 12-hour adventure races, and I am planning to do a 24-hour one soon.

"I appreciate things more. I don't know how long things will be as good as they are. It can become a progressive disease, though, and if it gets bad, the decline can be rapid. That's why I don't want to say my diagnosis was a good thing, but it has definitely put things into perspective."
