Jack O'Connell has no dental dilemma when it comes to his teeth
Jack O'Connell can no longer live the life he used to, due to his growing fame.
Jack O'Connell has no interest in fixing his teeth as he’ll never consider himself “Hollywood”.
Despite his protestations, British actor Jack is making waves across the pond, starring opposite A-listers like George Clooney and being directed by Angelina Jolie.
It was Angelina flick Unbroken that launched the 25-year-old stateside, but the Derby-born lad has zero interest in becoming your typical star.
“Whenever I go to LA, people tell me I should get my teeth done. Unless they want theirs f**king rearranging as well I suggest they keep their mouth shut,” he matter-of-factly told Britain’s ES Magazine.
“My teeth are my teeth and I’ll be f**ked if I’m ever going to do a job on them just to serve their purposes. I’m not Hollywood. There’s not a bit of me that ever wants to consider myself ‘Hollywood’.”
After taking a year away from cinema screens, Jack’s 2016 is action packed with work. Along with George and Julia Roberts drama Money Monster, he can also be seen in Tulip Fever alongside Christoph Waltz and Alicia Vikander.
As his star continues to rise, Jack is already experiencing some drawbacks of superstardom.
“I can’t live the life I grew up living,” he shrugged. “I used to enjoy going to the football, being around ordinary folk, or so-called ordinary folk, family get-togethers. Now even they’re difficult. If I go to certain dos every f**ker in there’s gonna want a photo.”
Jack has also had family fall outs since first finding fame on British TV show Skins.
“People assume I’m wealthy beyond belief. I ain’t. I need to work for a living. I have family members come out with claims, trying to threaten they’re going to the newspapers about me,” he vented.
However, he admits fame does help when it comes to the ladies, adding: “If it’s a bit more lingering than one night, then maybe not.”
