Jada Pinkett Smith has admitted that she still embarrasses her kids sometimes.
The actress and singer - who stars in new animated film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted - is mum to Jaden, 14, and Willow, 11, and is stepmum to husband Will Smith's son Trey.
Jada revealed: "Now my sons have got girlfriends coming into the house and I'm like, 'You've got to give mom a kiss before you leave' and it's like, 'Oh mom'. Even my 20-year-old!"
But despite their blushes, Jada said she had a great relationship with her children.
"I guess the kind of mom that I am, there's a great exchange between us. I listen to what they want and I listen to their desires and incorporate it into the creative process. There's no dictatorship when it comes to creating art. There's no dictatorship with my kids. We're in a partnership. We're partners in everything," she said.
"I never have to show them who's boss. It's very clear that we're in a partnership.
"Will's been here 44 years, I've been here 41 years, and they've been here less than that so they respect the wisdom and the knowledge that we have to offer them."
