Jada: Willow's my style mentor
Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed she takes fashion advice from her 10-year-old daughter Willow.
The mum-of-two - who is also stepmother to her husband Will's son from a previous marriage - said the pint-sized pop star has started borrowing her outfits too.
"She goes in my closet and she steals all my clothes. She's at the point now where she can wear my pants, although they're a little baggy on her, and my jackets," Jada said.
"And she tells me what things I need to get rid of that are old, so I pretty much listen to her."
Speaking in London at the launch party for Sony Entertainment Television, the star of medical TV show Hawthorne said she also approved of her daughter's budding friendship with Lady Gaga.
The Whip My Hair singer, who has been touring Europe with Justin Bieber, was spotted swapping style tips with Gaga at last month's Grammy Awards.
"I love that she has her affinity for Lady Gaga and Lady Gaga has a lot of affinity for Willow, and so she has her relationships that I think are very good in her development," Jada said.
"Pretty much how I roll with my kids is trying to find ways to help them to develop and be the people that they choose to be."
