Jaimie Alexander and her fiancé Peter Facinelli are not planning an elaborate nuptial ceremony.

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jaimie Alexander claims she and fiancé Peter Facinelli might get hitched at “City Hall”.

The 31-year-old Thor actress is engaged to the 41-year-old Twilight actor after he popped the question last March.

Jaimie is currently promoting her new TV show Blindspot and she also has a number of movies lined up, so wedding planning is not a number one priority at this time.

"Oh you know, I actually don't know," Jaimie told ET Online after she was asked when the nuptial ceremony will be held. "I don't have time to plan that right now but eventually. Who knows, maybe we'll just go to City Hall. Make it easy!"

Very little seemed to have gone to plan from the outset of their engagement.

Peter previously revealed his proposal was almost completely sabotaged by bad timing.

He asked for her hand in marriage on the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, arranging for a plane to fly over the top of the landmark with a banner bearing his question at 4pm. But the cold weather at the time of his proposal meant Peter’s romantic gesture was nearly missed by Jaimie.

"At 3:55 she was like, 'I'm cold, I'm going to go inside’. And then all of a sudden I look up when she went in and the plane was there!" Peter recalled to People magazine. “I had binoculars and I looked up and I saw a helicopter, and I looked and couldn't find [the plane] because I was nervous that it had left. And then I gave the binoculars to her and she goes, 'Yeah, it's right there,' and then she read the banner so it worked out."

Peter’s ridiculously form-fitting trousers also created an unexpected problem.

"I had just bought these new jeans and they were a little tight, so I said, 'My jeans are tight but I'll try to get down on one knee,” he laughed.
