James Franco: I'll be your Valentine

James Franco says he'll be there for anyone who's alone on Valentine's Day.

February 14 can be a tough day for all the single people out there, especially when they are surrounded by loved-up couples.

Luckily James, who is currently believed to be single, has promised that anyone lonely can count on him over the romantic holiday.

"Happy v-day - if you be alone, I be there with ya. Xxx (sic)," he posted on Instagram.

The funny star attached a picture of himself pulling a goofy face next to a pink T-shirt that reads "James Franco is my Valentine".

The This Is the End star isn't the only one to shower his followers with some virtual love.

Chrissy Teigen might be spending the day with her husband John Legend, but she still has time for any singletons out there.

"Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Sending love to you all. Even if you have no lovah, you are loved. (sic)," she posted.

Niall Horan is rumoured to have split up with model Barbara Palvin, who it was reported he was seeing.

The 20-year-old One Direction singer remains upbeat however.

"Happy valentines day my loves! Love you all ! Have fun! xxxx (sic)," he wrote.

One Direction's musical rivals The Wanted also made sure their fans know they love them.

Despite announcing their split earlier this year, the boys are still making time for their followers.

"Happy Valentines Day. Sending lots of love your way (sic)," Siva Kaneswaran wrote, adding a heart emoticon.

Bandmate Tom Parker added: "Happy valentines to everyone. Hope you all have love today x (sic)."
